Kody was home sick from school a few days this past week, talk about stir crazy! I was trying to get some work done and he was really bugging me so I just sent him down to the basement to "organize" his cars. I thought that would take at least an hours, considering the 3000 cars he has down there! (okay, maybe it's more like 1,075 but who's counting!?) I'm not kidding, 5 minutes later he comes back up and says "okay Mom, I'm all done with my cars!"
He had taken most of the "Cars" cars, as we call them (from the movie), and lined them up on top of his storage drawers. Of course, all the hot wheels, matchbox cars and train cars were strewn all over the floor, but hey at least he partly did what I asked him to!Mollie was also bouncing off the walls, feeling very cooped up and not so happy that our quiet afternoons had been invaded by Kody, so I sent her to her room one morning to get dressed by herself. (she really loves this particular freedom)
This is what she came up with! Her fashion sense is not quite perfect, but at least she's trying. Now for a random bit about Madi - she is suffering from baby-patterned baldness. I was so hoping that this one would keep all her hair, as she really hadn't lost much until now. She has lost it completely in the front, the top is going quickly and the back is pretty much gone. And then there's this mullet in the back. A very dark mullet (the picture doesn't do it any justice). What little hair she does have is gong lighter, but the mullet is just as dark as the day she was born. So here's my question, do I go ahead and shave it to match the rest of her hair or let it go and see what happens? It won't be long before I can pull that mullet in to a ponytail and she can look like a tiny little ninja master, which could be quite entertaining!

What's wrong with Mollie's outfit? I'd wear it!
And I know Ginger would say shave it...but I'm sorta changing my feelings towards mullets now that Gabe has one. I'm really starting to like "business up front, party in the back!"
So I say, let nature take it's course.
Now send Kody back to the basement and do some more blogging!!!!
LOL, that ninja pony tail would be quite funny! However, in the long rund she will never forgive you for it. If the rest of her hair really is gone I would just get rid of it. My sister is always cutting the back of her daughters hair to match the rest of it to avoid the mullett look. I love Mollie's outfit by the way! Where can I buy that outfit. Maybe one day she will figure it out. :)
Baby mullets are always in. ;) We shaved Smidget's head at 6 months and I swear by it. Baby A will be getting it soon.
Is The King Kody's favorite car? He has at least 4, I see.
Yeah, we shaved Kody's head at 3 months but never had anything to shave with Mollie! And yes, I know it looks like he has many "King's", but actually there are only 2 Kings, a Dinoco Mcqueen and of course Bling-Bling McQueen. He also has regular McQueen, Bug Face McQueen and Dirty McQueen. There are still a few he never got, but I really think he has plenty!
I love how Kody organized his cars cars that is so cute. Your kids are so cute and just keep getting cuter. Good luck with the baby mullet. That's a good question. I might be dealing with the same thing with baby #2. I would have to agree with the others to trim and match the rest of the hair.
I just love Mollie's little face and her smile. I'm not quite as fond of the whole outfit, but leggings are back in, so maybe that's what she was going for. Hope Kody feels better this week and goes back to school!
